Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Well known chefs from restaurants Café des Artistes, La Palapa, Vista Grill, Kaiser Maximilian, Trio, Vitea and Casa Magna Marriott Puerto Vallarta will delight attendees of the 7th Annual Palomazo Culinario - an incomparable culinary event including cocktails and a gala dinner accompanied by live musicians on Sunday, October 16, 2011.

This annual event will contribute to several worthy causes: AGAPE, a shelter for girls who have been battered, Becas Vallarta, an institution that supports disadvantaged children in continuing their elementary and higher studies, as well Pasitos de Luz Foundation, which supports low-income mothers who have children with disabilities, and the San Juan Diego nursing home.

The menu includes:

From Trio, smoked salmon with brioche and lemon curd, shrimp ravioli in lobster sauce and chipotle beef tartare.

Vitea will provide spinach quiche, pumpkin and Roquefort cheese, tomato bruchetta with mozzarella and prosciutto and Vitea style ceviche.

La Palapa/Vista Grill will offer a salad of green apple and blueberry with spicy walnuts, goat cheese and agave honey mustard vinaigrette.

Kaiser Maximilian serve a hot starter course of cream of red cabbage with potato dumplings.

The host hotel, Casa Magna Marriott Puerto Vallarta, will provide a main dish of crusted steak with mustard bordelaise sauce, basmati rice dumplings, walnut academia, shrimp flavored with lemon and tea, and vegetable lasagna.

Café des Artistes will present a dessert of "strawberries in all their glory."

Tickets are on sale until two days before the event at each of the beneficiary associations as well as through the Hotel Concierge at Marriott Casa Magna Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA.

The cost per ticket is $600 pesos, and the concierge can be reached at (322) 226-0017.
