November 4, 2011

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - The year 2011 has been anything but quiet for Linda Neil of AMPI La Paz/Los Cabos.

First, in the month of May, was the anniversary of 20 years in business for her company, The Settlement Company. The celebration took place jointly with the 12th Anniversary of the La Paz Section of The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI).

Attending the event was Adan Larracillo, national President of AMPI, along with representatives of the real estate industry from La Paz, Los Cabos and Loreto along with civic officials from the three levels of government. Linda and Alicia Parra of The Settlement Company made an audio visual presentation, "Twenty Years of Real estate in Baja California Sur."

Later in the year, Linda was honored first by her election as a member of AMPI's National Advisory Council and then an appointment by the National Association of Realtors(NAR) as Presidential Liaison from NAR to AMPI. In this new position, she joins Presidential Liaisons connecting NAR with forty six other national real estate associations, around the world.

Commenting on her appointment as NAR's, P.L. to Mexico, Linda said, "It is a real honor for me to be selected by NAR. My objective will be to maintain the ongoing relationships between our associations. I will work hard in my new position to encourage Realtors in the U.S. to send their clients to purchase property in Mexico. It is my intent to organize several trade missions which will bring NAR members to Mexico."
