Catfish Dinner & a Movie Fundraiser at Nacho Daddy

November 14, 2011

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Get this one on your social calendar! On Saturday, December 3, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Nacho Daddy, located at Basilio Badillo #180 on the south side of Puerto Vallarta will host a Catfish Dinner / Movie Night fundraiser for PuRR Project, a local no-kill feline rescue shelter.

In addition to yummy fried catfish, dinner will include hush kittens (our version of hush puppies,) calico cat slaw, a kitty cookie - and you can choose one of three special cocktails... a Meowgarita, a Black Cat (don't cross anyone's path after one of these!) or a Cheshire Cat (this one will make you smile like a Cheshire cat!)

During dinner, there will be a showing of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof the classic movie starring Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. At the end of the evening, there will be a drawing for a fabulous prize dinner for two at Café des Artistes. All this for just $250 pesos!

After dinner, stick around and enjoy music by Joe "King" Carrasco. It's his birthday, so you can wish him 'Feliz Cumpleanos' in person.

Seating is limited, so get your reservation in early by sending an email to exkhan(at)usfamily.net, indicating the number in your group.

Purr Project is a Non-Profit shelter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that provides homeless cats and kittens a recuperative stay with the ultimate goal to adopt them out to loving homes. All of our residents have been sterilized, vaccinated and are disease free. We accomplish this through our own efforts as well as collaboratively with other animal welfare organizations. Both monetary donations as well as donations of dry cat food are most welcome – and much appreciated. For more information, visit PurrProject.com or send an email to info(at)purrproject.com.
