Ximena Sarinana to Honor Bob Dylan

Mexican singer Ximena Sarinana

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Mexican singer Ximena Sarinana has been invited to participate in the four-disc project entitled "Chimes of Freedom: The songs of Bob Dylan" with which to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International (AI) and Bob Dylan, who is now celebrating the 50th year of his recording career.

There will be 80 singers from around the world in charge of interpreting Dylan classics. Besides Sarinana, who will be responsible for the song "I Want You", the guest list included Adele, Miley Cyrus, Dave Matthews Band, Ke $ ha, Johnny Cash, Mark Knopfler, Diana Krall, Lenny Kravitz,and Kris Kristofferson.

Other speakers include Ziggy Marley, Maroon 5, Tom Morello and My Chemical Romance, as well as musicians Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Patti Smith, Sting, Sugarland and Evan Rachel Wood.

A national newspaper reported that over the four-disc project entitled "Chimes of Freedom: The songs of Bob Dylan", Amnesty International would like to highlight the attacks on freedom of expression.

The album will be officially launched on January 24th in the U.S. but is now available on the Facebook page of AI.
