Los Ayala's Fiesta Needs Your Support

January 24, 2012

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Los Ayala's Authentic Mexican Fiesta will feature, among other activities, Mariachi, Folkloric Dancers and a Charro Exhibition. Guests will enjoy an Authentic Mexican Shrimp Dinner (with Chicken available for folks with allergies). One drink is also included.

As everyone probably knows the Fiesta is a fundraiser to replace the aging sewage piping which carries waste out of Los Ayala to the Pumping Station. Our community needs to raise $250,000 pesos and, once we reach that number, they will be matched 3 for 1 by the Municipal, Federal and State Government. These agencies will provide Los Ayala with the $1,000,000 plus pesos needed to replace the 800 meters of piping.

Property owners in Los Ayala are being assessed $2300 pesos per property; bungalows will be paying an additional $70 pesos per room, and beachfront hotels and businesses will be paying even more to help cover the costs of the project.

This is a very important community fundraiser for Los Ayala. The aging infrastructure piping must be replaced in order to maintain the quality of life in Los Ayala, and to protect the environment for future generations and the local wildlife. Whether you agree or not that Los Ayala needs to host a fundraiser to raise the first twenty-five percent of the monies needed for the project, it is better than the alternative (doing nothing).

Los Ayala's Authentic Mexican Fiesta takes place on Friday, January 27th at Los Delfines Bungalows & RV Park (just across from Los Ayala's Town Plaza) from 6 - 9 p.m. The cost is $350 pesos per person, and no doubt it will be a fun, and special event. Please support the event by buying a ticket for yourself and/or a friend. Everyone loves a Mexican Fiesta!
