Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - This week, we've made some changes to our regular schedule. The community center is now closed on Mondays and there will be no Stretching Class for the next few weeks, but there are still plenty of fun things to do at Paradise Community Center.

Tuesday Zumba: Get your Zumba on for just $30 pesos at 9:30 am

Tuesday Movie Night: This week's movie is The Corporation. Come early for dinner and drinks. This event is sponsored by the Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad. Price: $60 pesos. 6:00-10:00 pm. The film will begin at 7:00 pm. Click HERE to see the trailer. Come and check out the new gourmet burger menu.

Wednesday Night Artisans Market: You will find fresh, local, handmade products, and live music from 6:00-9:00 pm. If you would like to be a vendor, please contact Jaime at 322-205-1261.

Saturday Market Co-Op: From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm every Saturday, browse your favorite market vendors for freshly baked breads, quality organic vegetables, authentic English pies, prepared-fresh Thai dishes, gourmet chili, gorgeous flowers and so much more.

Sunday Church Service: The Worship in Paradise Church holds a Christian service at the center at 10:00 AM every Sunday. Love God. Love People. Period. For more information, visit WorshipInParadise.org.

The Book & Bean Coffee Shop, located inside the community center, is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Coffee and pastries are available, as well as hundreds of used books to buy and trade.

Coming Up Next Week: Vegetarian Diet & Lifestyle Workshop on Tuesday, January 17, noon to 2:00 pm. Staci Nichols, author of 101 Vegetarian Eating and Living Tips, will instruct on the vegetarian food pyramid, how to combine proteins, grocery shopping and restaurant tips, the skinny on fake meat, benefits of a vegetarian diet, special concerns like vegetarian athletes and children, and much more. A vegetarian meal will be served during the workshop. Tickets are $200 pesos. RSVP by emailing tickets(at)paradisecommunitycenter.com.
