Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The largest DJ event in Mexico's history hits the sound boards at various Puerto Vallarta night clubs starting February 24 and running through April 8, 2012. It is called Electro Beach.

College Travel Experts, in association with Prime Social Group, have lined up the hottest, up and coming talents, plus some of the biggest names in the business for six weeks of world class EDM (electronic dance music). Long-time superstars Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and Laidback Luke will be headlining this extravaganza.

This coincides with Spring Break 2012 and Puerto Vallarta is benefitting greatly. One local promoter, Andy Boggeri with PV Event Group, stated at a recent press conference that just over 6,000 students have already made their reservations. He sites major downturns for spring break activities in Acapulco and Mazatlan as a boom for the area. Andy also says that some hotels are catering exclusively to spring breakers and over 25 villas have been rented in Conchas Chinas to accommodate the college students. He estimates that around $6-million US dollars will be spent in Puerto Vallarta during this time period.
