Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Don’t miss Banderas Bay’s favorite little plaza for everything delicious! This month, you’ll want to stop by Mikey’s and check out their selection of quality butcher meats and k’ rico :) is now offering homemade jams. If you are a Chardonnay lover, make sure that you visit Cork+Bottle, where all month their selection of chardonnays are 15% off, and FireWorks has a new selection of paints, offering deeper tones for your paint-your-own pottery project.

Mikey’s is your top choice for quality, cut-to-order meats at prices that match Costco! At Mikey’s, select from New Yorks, Rib Eye, Filet Mignon, thick-cut Pork Chops, Baby-Back Ribs, Pork Tenderloin and more. Plus, with every purchase of butcher meats, you’ll receive a complimentary compound (flavored) butter of your choice including Blue Cheese-Bacon, Garlic-Parsley and Cabernet-Shallot-Ancho Chili.

This month Mikey’s also has a sale on marinades, steak sauces and BBQ sauces! Choose from Stubb’s Chicken, Beef or Pork Marinades: save 20%! Regularly $112 pesos, on sale for $89 Pesos, Jim Beam Steak Sauce now just $89 pesos & Jim Beam BBQ sauce also just $89 Pesos or HOT BBQ sauces including Bone Sucking HOT or Emeril’s Kicked Up BAM BBQ Sauce at only $69 Pesos.

Here’s even more reasons to love k’ rico :)! Did you know that María-Inés makes jams and that they’re 66% fruit? Flavors include; Citrus with grapefruit, oranges and lemons, Cran-Orange has cranberries, oranges and lemons, reduced seed Raspberry is just that: raspberry jam with over half of the seeds removed, Red Fruit combines strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries and Plum is plum with a touch of lemon juice. Come in to k’ rico:) where you can sample these and, if you agree that her mermeladas are the best ever, we’ll thank you with a 15% discount on your jam purchase!

Also, The brownies at k’ rico:) just got a lot better and are only for true chocolate lovers; what with them being almost pure chocolate (with a little butter, flour, sugar and walnuts) these are soooo good that we call them "OMG Fudge Brownies!" To go with your favorite treat, our coffee Americano is just $12 pesos a cup – that’s what you pay for the stuff they sell at OXXO! And don’t forget, starting at 6 pm every day, the croissants, cinnamon rolls, Danish braids and chocolatines are 50% off.

If you are a Chardonnay lover, then Cork + Bottle is your place this month! Every bottle of their wide range of great 100% Chardonnays are 15% off! Their stock includes a number of outstanding choices from Mexico, rich and buttery options from California and Oregon, as well as lighter offerings from Chile and Australia. And there is usually a bottle or two open for tastings.

Plus, on March 22nd they are excited to share some great new wines from Argentina. This tasting event is $300 pesos per person, begins at 7:30 pm in the courtyard of Los Mercados and includes food pairings from Mikey´s Deli. Tickets are available at Cork+Bottle, Monday – Saturday, 9 am to 8 pm.

At FireWorks, Banderas Bay’s paint-your-own pottery studio, you’ll discover an array of new, deeper colors. So whether creating a coffee mug for your office or a souvenir gift for a friend back home, rely on FireWorks to help you create a beautiful and colorful keepsake of your time spent in Vallarta, with just the right piece of personalized pottery.

Each year, residents and visitors are asked to vote for what they believe is the "Best of Banderas Bay." So, what do you think, does Mikey’s offer the "Best Take-Out"? Is k ´rico :) the best "Coffee Shop" and/or "Bakery"? Does Cork+Bottle offer the "Best Wine Selection"? Share your opinion and you could win some fabulous prizes! Simply go to VirtualVallarta.com and select what you believe is the best of Banderas Bay. We appreciate your votes and support! But hurry, voting ends June 15!

And don’t forget, Vallarta’s favorite one-stop-shop for everything delicious will donate 10% of its sales on a certain day of the week from one of their shops to support the Los Mangos Library; a beloved non-profit organization that offers something for all members of the community. For further details, visit your favorite store at Los Mercados.
