March 9, 2012
Everyone had a great time at the 2012 SETAC Duckaton, which was held on Boana Torre Malibu's poolside terrace on February 29th to raise money for Vallarta's GLBT Community Center.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The 3rd Annual Duckaton Fundraising Party, an evening filled with fun and friendship in support of Puerto Vallarta's GLBT Community Center, SETAC, was held on February 29th on the Boana Torre Malibu poolside terrace.

This year's Duckaton was a smashing success with more than 100 attendees enjoying live entertainment, food & beverages, and watching and waiting for the "go-go boys" to swim after the 265 toy ducks in the pool and call out their number to see which of the fabulous prizes, donated by Puerto Vallarta businesses, they had won.

SETAC Community Center founder, Ed Thomas (R)

SETAC Executive Director Paco Arjona said, "We are so delighted that many more people attended this year. We are very thankful, Vallartenses, your generous support of the GLBT center is a vote of confidence and what made our third annual fundraiser such a success."

"Puerto Vallarta businesses and restaurants are our angels... they are the backbone for making community fundraising events like this one successful. We sincerely thank all of our sponsors, including: AIDS Healthcare Foundation México, Alphonse Swimwear, Bistro Balsamar, Banderas News, Angel's Store, Bubba Gump, Gay PV, Hotel Hortencia, La Noche, El Mole de Jovita, Memorias de México, Gay Guide Vallarta, Paco's Ranch, Trapos y Chucherias by Teto, The Studio Tattoos, Pethome, Ron Morgan Properties, The Palm, Hotel Mercurio and Robby's Housekeeping, to name a few, for generously giving their time and substantial donations of food, beverages and prizes to our 3rd Annual Duckaton," he added.
