Laguna Azul, The Perfect Peaceful Retreat

For more information, contact Ron Morgan or Gustavo Lopez, in Puerto Vallarta at (322) 222-6678, from the U.S. at (323) 315-2569, or toll free from US/Canada at (888) 516-7304.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Undisturbed tranquility can be found along Mexico's Pacific coast at Laguna Azul, just a short drive from Puerto Vallarta. The perfect peaceful retreat, this undeveloped land is a collection of 16 individual lots, or the entire plot can be purchased in order to develop a unique living experience. There has even been clubhouse space reserved for the developed area. The land is situated on a fresh water lagoon, which has channels connected to other bodies of water, and is perfect for all types of water sports.

This section of land is located near the town of La Cruz de Loreto in the state of Jalisco. On Highway 200, Laguna Azul is about 90 minutes south of downtown Puerto Vallarta. The quaint charm of the Cabo Corrientes municipality and the pristine beaches of Mayto and Tehuamixtle are yours to enjoy. To the West here are magnificent ocean panoramas, and views to the East include low mountains and tropical vegetation.

The Laguna Azul lots range from 10,025 square meters (107,876 square feet) to 16,867 square meters (181,498 square feet) and the entire parcel is around 180,371 square meters (1,941,507 square feet.) Measures are in place to limit building height, and buyers are responsible for contracting all construction and utility services. The local infrastructure is prepared. Builders must follow guidelines to preserve the natural habitat, conserve the native species and maintain the area as ecologically friendly as possible.

The fresh water lagoon is unpolluted and home to a variety of fish and even shrimp. The flora and fauna of the entire area is fantastic. This gives you the chance to commune with nature while creating your dream home.

Laguna Azul is far away from urban areas, yet close enough to towns where there are small, family owned stores to find fresh produce, groceries and hardware. In the adjacent municipality of Tomatlán, construction has started on the third largest airport in the state of Jalisco, which will stimulate residential and commercial development in the region and bring added value and accessibility to the area.

There are several other infrastructure projects underway, such as widening federal road 200 between Puerto Vallarta and El Tuito and a water reservoir is scheduled to be built in the mountains between El Tuito and Mayto. This project will provide water to all the coastal communities along Cabo Corrientes, but it will also boost the economies of Mayto, Tehuamixtle, Villa del Mar, and Ipala, which are all located in the same municipality as Laguna Azul.

Even with all the new construction, the area will remain a bastion of uncomplicated living with a low population. Laguna Azul is a place to truly get away from it all. Think of yourself as a pioneer on the virgin coastline.
