El Arrayán Announces Fall Cooking Classes & Producer Tour

El Arrayán’s cooking classes have become a popular activity for visitors and locals alike, anybody that is interested in learning Mexican cooking techniques from a professional chef.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Everyone’s favorite Mexican Restaurant in Banderas Bay announces their Mexican Cooking classes for the 2012 Fall/Winter season. Once again they will be sharing a few of their secrets during a series of up-coming cooking classes.

On scheduled Mondays every month, a limited number of participants will join El Arrayán’s team for a traditional Mexican breakfast, visiting local purveyors, hands-on cooking instructions in their all stainless steel professional kitchen and then enjoying what they've cooked for lunch.

The dates for these great experience classes are as follows:

Monday, October 15
Monday, October 29
Monday, November 5
Monday, November 19
Monday, December 3

Fees for these professional introduction to Mexican cooking techniques and ingredients classes range from $95 to $110 USD (depending on the menu) per person, per class. The fee also includes transportation (El Arrayan, breakfast, market & back), breakfast, instruction, take-home printed recipes, an embroidered apron, and lunch, which includes one cocktail or glass of Mexican house wine. Class is conducted in English and will only take place with a minimum of 5 people.

Now, on Monday December 17th for the first time Carmen will be taking a group to the mountain village of El Tuito to visit some local small food producers while working on their unique artisan products. The price is $85 USD per person. This fee also includes transportation (El Arrayan, El Tuito, producers, lunch & back.)
