Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Many Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors will be dismayed to hear that VirtualVallarta.com recently announced the end of their Reader's Choice Awards, an annual poll that allowed both residents and visitors to vote for their favorite Puerto Vallarta restaurants.

The brainchild of Virtual Vallarta managing editor, Paco Ojeda, the Readers' Choice logo has been considered a symbol of quality since the award program's inception in 2002. Patrons were pleased to have an easy way to spread the word about the restaurants they found to be exceptional, and the establishments that were 'doing it right' were delighted to receive the public's accolades.
