PuRR Project Presents: 'Chicken Wing Chow Down!'

January 28, 2013
Join fellow feline supporters at The Pitt Bar and Grill on Friday, February 1st for the 'Chicken Wing Chow Down. $250 pesos gets you all-you-can-eat wings, 2 margaritas, $10 peso beer, live music, and more!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Help us put some pesos in Purr Project's "kitty" by joining us on Friday, Feb. 1st from 7 - 10 pm for All You Can Eat Chicken Wings at The Pitt Bar and Grill.

For only $250 pesos at the door you can enjoy all the delicious chicken wings you can put away, two margaritas, 50% off the Pitt's famous jalapeno poppers, $10 peso beer, and live music. What a deal!!! With a full tummy and the personal satisfaction of knowing that you have helped the 200+ displaced cats and kittens at the PuRR Project shelter, you'll be purring with contentment.

PuRR Project is a no-kill feline shelter located on one-half acre of land just north of Puerto Vallarta. The adults roam free within a fenced garden, giving them a natural and safe environment in which to live. The kittens have their own nursery, which is an enclosed structure with an open-air patio. The sanctuary also has a clinic for surgeries and veterinary care.

All monies raised at fundraisers like this one will help cover PuRR Project's operating expenses which includes vet care, spaying and neutering, food, kitty litter, and maintenance of the facility.

"I find the number of cats living in the streets appalling," says Marilyn Khan, a volunteer with PuRR Project. "They are my passion and I just cannot walk by and leave them suffering, especially the kittens that are thrown out like trash. I believe that a healthy animal population helps to facilitate a healthy human population."

If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten, visit the PuRR Project adoption events. Check them out every Friday at Plaza Marina, in the rotunda outside Comercial from 11 am to 1 pm and on Saturdays at the Paradise Community Center on Pulpito #127 in Zona Romantica from 9 am to 1 pm. All of the cats available have been sterilized, have all their vaccines, and are parasite free and healthy.

Join the PuRR Project team on Friday, February 1st for an evening of great food and drink, music, and a chance to meet other animal lovers at The Pitt Bar and Grill! Located on Basilio Badillo #419, Old Town.

* Donations 501(c)(3) tax-deductible in the United States. *

Purr Project is a Non-Profit shelter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that provides homeless cats and kittens a recuperative stay with the ultimate goal to adopt them out to loving homes. All of our residents have been sterilized, vaccinated and are disease free. We accomplish this through our own efforts as well as collaboratively with other animal welfare organizations. Both monetary donations as well as donations of dry cat food are most welcome – and much appreciated. For more information, visit PurrProject.com or send an email to info(at)purrproject.com.
