Bucerias, Mexico - The ABC Festival is a major charity event you will NOT want to miss! Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 2nd from 2 pm - 6 pm.

It's all happening at the "Explanada Corona," a huge arena opposite Colegio Bucerias and the Miguel Aleman school on Estaciones, Bucerias. All net proceeds are going to the Children's Library "Biblioteca Rey Nayar."

This is going to be "school sports day meets village fair" - with extra toppings! There will be 40 VW Classic Beetles on display, plus other classic cars, Harley Davidson motorbikes, and some caballeros (Mexican cowboys) with the original horsepower!

Live music from the fabulous group The Gecko Band - thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Luna Lounge. You won't just be tapping your feet, you'll be up and dancing!

With a return to traditional family values, there will be games for the kids you'll remember from your childhood: sack race, 3 legged race, egg and spoon race, and a chance for the adults to join in too! Come and be a kid again!

Raffles, bouncy castle, and other games thanks to The Shamrock Pub. There will be a competition for the kids to find a mascot for the library and a slogan and mascot for the Amigos de Bucerias "Anti Litter Campaign."

Come and enjoy lots of inexpensive food from local vendors, maybe pick up some bargains from the artisans - we're helping the local economy - and of course enjoy a drink or three because we will have the all important baños!

There will be posters directing you from the highway, but it's easy to find: turn inland at the set of traffic lights by the Famar Restaurant - Estaciones, and follow the signs. Ample on street parking if you have a car, if not, a special shuttle service will be in operation from the shade of the big Huanacaxtle tree at the highway end of Estaciones.
