Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - FANDANGO, nominated as the "Best Live Show" in Mexico for the past two years, will be performing June 8-13 in Perm, Russia to bring Mexican culture to this city of a million people on the banks of the Kama River near the Ural Mountains.

First presented at the inauguration of Teatro Vallarta, FANDANGO takes audiences on a colorful journey through the rich and magical history of México. From the prehispanic myth that gave birth to tequila to the celebrated music of the mariachi, FANDANGO is a vibrant 90-minute celebration of song, dance and theatre.

Including colorful costumes and ambitious staging, FANDANGO features 35 artists on stage with live mariachis. Over the past 2 years, FANDANGO received a prestigious Lunas del Auditorio nomination for best live spectacular, now Russian audiences will be able to experience what Banderas Bay has enjoyed for years.

With a total of two companies, FANDANGO will continue to perform at Teatro Vallarta each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $450 Pesos are available through Ticketmaster, at the Ticketmaster Outlet in Galleries Vallarta Mall (across for the cruise terminal) and at Teatro Vallarta's box office Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm. Teatro Vallarta is located in El Centro at Uruguay 184, just south of LEY'S grocery store on the main street as you enter downtown.
