On Thursday, May 16th, from 6:30 to close, Las Palomas is donating 50 percent of dinner proceeds to Biblioteca Los Mangos. They will be serving a very special menu, with your choice from three delicious entrees, for only $120 pesos. Drinks and tips are not included.

Biblioteca Los Mangos is not "just a library." It is a true cultural and community center. Since 1996 it has been a place where children and adults alike are able to go to read - they currently have more than 30,000 books in both Spanish and English, - use computers, take dancing lessons, play chess, watch movies, paint, and a multitude of other activities. They also present numerous artistic events including musical concerts featuring everything from classical music to modern dance.

The library is a gift to everyone of all ages in Puerto Vallarta. As a non-profit organization, it relies on donors and fund raisers like this to keep the doors open to this extremely valuable community resource - it receives no government funding of any kind.
