Artisan Sandals & Organic Coffee at the OTFM

May 2, 2013

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Old Town Farmers' Market-Tianguis Cultural has a wealth of treasures and experiences to share with you this Saturday. Fill your eco-friendly bags with farm-to-table ingredients; get your tarot cards read; find the perfect "make it, bake it, grow it" gift for a friend; or dance to the rhythms of live music in the street.

The Market features producer-only products and is an ideal location for local artists to display their creativity. And what could be a better canvas than your footwear? Begoņa Lopez Morales of Begoņa Sandalias adorns her beach sandals with macramé knots, beads, and whimsical trimmings. She then covers the soles with leather for maximum comfort and wearability.

"I think of all the places you can wear my sandals, and that motivates me to continue creating beautiful footwear for women of all ages," says Morales. In her third season at the Market, she has decorated and sold over 2000 pairs of artisan sandals. From earth tones to bright neon colors, Begoņa Sandalias has every color to complete your summertime wardrobe.

"Begoņa Sandalias are not only stylish and comfortable, but they are truly unique," says Morales. "You won't find another pair of sandals like them anywhere else in the world."

If you're looking for fun fashions for your feet, Begoņa Sandalias has you covered for the summer. Visit Facebook to learn more.

If you're striving to create the perfect cup o' Joe, then be sure to visit the husband and wife team of Thomas Burris and Yolanda Madera. Together, they own Café Yolanda Superior del Pacifico, an organic coffee company that brings the fresh aroma and natural flavors to coffee lovers. In the 1990s, the duo started selling coffee from their Vallarta-based café. Today, they sell hot coffee and bagged organic coffee beans across from Nacho Daddy every Saturday.

"We source our coffee from a number of local growers," says Madera. This includes organically grown capomo, a coffee substitute. "We hull and roast the beans, then grind it to make a superior taste that is enjoyed with each cup."

"With low prices, high quality, and freshness, people are quick to recognize good value and superior taste," says Burris. Come see for yourself why Café Yolanda Superior del Pacifico coffee is a long-time coffee favorite right here in Puerto Vallarta.

If you're looking for some shopping fun this Saturday, there's really no better place to be than the Old Town Farmer's Market-Tianguis Cultural.
