Ritmonson Latino Channel Filming in Riviera Nayarit

July 11, 2013

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico - "Ay papaya Celaya!" exclaimed one of the Ritmonson Latino channel's hosts, Bazooka Joe, after experiencing the beauty of Riviera Nayarit, where he recorded 120 different segments in 2012. Bazooka is back again this summer, this time joined by Carolina Morán with whom he is filming new episodes in places that he did not get to explore last year.

The Ritmonson Latino production of The Break, a series made to provide useful information on summer vacations, has traveled Riviera Nayarit from north to south to record these promotional videos, which will give the destination more than $600,000 pesos worth of free exposure.

The episodes will be aired towards the end of July in the rotation of videos on this popular television channel, which is accessible via major cable companies in Mexico and 45 other countries in the Americas and Europe.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CAB) of Riviera Nayarit, a civil association dedicated to the promotion of the destination, has worked hand in hand with all sectors of society and government to portray all of the wonderful places in Mexico's Pacific Treasure as a single destination that offers great attractions, spectacular scenery and, above all, high quality services and amenities.

One strategy is to attract the attention of the media through public relations efforts, such as with Ritmonson Latino, to get the greatest amount of international exposure at the lowest cost possible, which, in turn, attracts more tourism.

"The Convention and Visitors Bureau reaffirms its commitment to work intensively to achieve the objective of attracting more and better tourists to Mexico's Pacific Treasure and to distribute this tourism throughout Riviera Nayarit to improve the lives of all our people," says Marc Murphy, director of the CVB.
