Expats in Vallarta Happy Hour / Toothbrush Collection

August 27, 2013

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - Join Expats in Vallarta on Tuesday, September 24th for another fun-filled Happy Hour gathering at Langostino's from 5 to 7 pm. Langostinos is located on the South end of Los Muertos Beach, just north of the new pier. Come on down relax, enjoy some great food and mingle with other ExPats.

As you well know, ExPats in Vallarta has never asked for money or anything else from our members for any charitable group even though we know there are a lot of worthwhile efforts locally that many of you already participate in. We are making an exception for this one, but we are not asking for money here either.

Due to positive response we are going to continue collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste for Dr. Octavio Lomeli, who provides dental care to people in need that, for many reasons, cannot obtain this service.

Dr. Octavio and members of his staff recently visited the Cuale River village of Los Llanitos to provide dental services to the mountain people that do not have access to them.

He plans to make several more such visits to Los Llanitos and other similar villages. He has requested assistance with certain supplies to help these people. ExPats has been collecting tooth brushes and toothpaste at our Happy Hours because after Dr. Octavio does dental treatment on the patients they are instructed about dental hygiene and how to brush and take proper care of their teeth. Many thanks to everyone who has already donated. It is really appreciated.

Summer Happy Hours are the best! Come on down "rain or shine" and have a summer attitude adjustment. The weather is perfect for a great Happy Hour. Have a couple cool ones and sample some of Langostino's great food and chat with all your fellow ExPats. Getting out is great therapy for everyone. If you are a first timer let us know and we will introduce you to other ExPats.

To make your reservations, please visit - ExpatsInVallarta.com - or send an email to sarajwise(at)yahoo.com. We need to give Langostino's a count so please be sure and tell us how many are coming.

There is no membership fee or requirements for the events; everyone pays for only what they use or consume. It's a great way to meet new friends and get out and enjoy Vallarta.

The continually growing local group of Expats In Vallarta is open to all expat residents, visitors, and investors from other countries. The purpose of the group is both to provide fun social events where members can meet friends and create new friendships and to provide a meaningful resource for expats already living here and those considering the Banderas Bay area.

For more information, to join the group, or for insight on what others have experienced during their move to Vallarta, visit ExpatsInVallarta.com.
