Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Check out splashy fashion at Hair Spray Night 2 on October 4, 2013 at Mandala Sky Bar in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Starting at 8 pm, Banderas Bay area beauty salons will be strutting their stuff at this annual charity event.

For months, more than ten local salons have been planning this elaborate display of electrifying hair styles and costumes. The wild and exotic hairdos are piled high and come in a rainbow of colors. The over-the-top fashions, flamboyant nails, and glittery make-up further enhance the runway models.

This is the only event of its kind in Banderas Bay. "It's a dream come true," says SETAC director, Paco Arjona. "The response has been incredible and we hope to make this event bigger every year."

Tickets for Hair Spray Night 2 cost just $150 pesos, which includes two cocktails. All proceeds will benefit SETAC (Solidaridad Ed Thomas A.C.) Puerto Vallarta's GLBT Community Center, SETAC provides a variety of health services, including free HIV and syphilis tests, condom distribution, prevention and education workshops, and a variety of support programs for people living with HIV. SETAC also provides HIV positive mothers with milk, among many other community programs.

Last year's event raised just over $58,000 pesos and helped fund the many programs SETAC provides. This year, look for more over-the-top-hair styles... and plenty of fun!
