Punta Mita, Mexico - 41-year-old Modern Family actress Sofía Vergara enjoyed the holidays in the Banderas Bay area with family and fiancé Nick Loeb at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.

Vergara, who was also joined by son Manolo, mom Margarita, and a few other pals, spent her week-long vacation in a super luxurious 1,140 square-foot Deluxe Beachfront Suite featuring a spacious terrace, a private Jacuzzi, a sunbed, an outdoor shower, oceanfront views, and 24-hour butler service.

Prior to Christmas, the trip also celebrated Margarita's birthday. The group celebrated with St. Regis’ traditional sunset Champagne Ritual, followed by a private beach BBQ dinner and intimate party, complete with a mariachi band and custom cake.

On Christmas Eve, Vergara and her gang enjoyed dinner at the resort's AAA five-star Carolina restaurant.

Among the many outings the group enjoyed, Sofia and her group participated in a tequila tasting and went on a Marine Safari boating excursion to the Marietas Islands, some pampering at the resort’s 10,000 square-foot Remède Spa, beachfront backgammon, lounging by the pool with cocktails, and catch of the day from the Mita Mary Boat Bistro at the resort’s Sea Breeze Beach Club.

The group spent their last night in Mexico celebrating at the resort's signature beach party on the sand.

With amenities like these, it's no surprise that celebs love the St. Regis Punta Mita. In the past, stars like Selena Gomez, Hilary Duff, Tori Spelling, and Kristin Chenoweth have made their way there to get away from it all.

"Ciao Punta Mita!!" Vergara wrote on her WhoSay page with a pic of them ready to depart. "Ciao St Regis!! What a great time!!!!"
