Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - Mantamar Beach Club Bar & Grill would like to thank the community for the outpouring of support expressed to the Meza family, Almar Resort Luxury All Suites & Spa and the beach club team after a fire damaged the palapa restaurant earlier this month.

Although the reconstruction of our beach club is still in development, we are currently offering drink and snack service on the beach, and the pool reopened on January 22.

Our commitment to the Puerto Vallarta community drives us to complete the repairs necessary and reopen our full services shortly, bringing employment to the city as well as a vibrant addition to Vallarta's offer as a tourism destination.

However, due to work which still requires completion, we regret that we will be unable to host the "Tidal Wave: Beef-dip Fundraising Pool Party" event, which was scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 30th, 2014, in our beach club. We extend a sincere apology to both organizers and the general public.

We invite you to visit our reopened beach area and say hello to our staff and workers who are laboring each day to restore Mantamar Beach Club Bar & Grill to its full potential. And we look forward to again welcoming visitors and residents to our unique beach club experience with a vibrant pool, creative cocktails, a delicious casual gourmet menu designed by renowned chef Thierry Blouet, resident DJ and a host of activities to enjoy the sand and sea in our prime location south of Playa Los Muertos.
