La Peñita de Jaltemba, Nayarit - How does Jaltemba Bay Rotary make such a difference in the lives of the people who live in the Jaltemba Bay area? They do so because they hold a once a year dinner dance fundraiser.

The 5th Annual Jaltemba Bay Rotary Dinner Dance will be held at the Salon Real de Penas in La Penita on Saturday, January 25th. Featured is a delicious dinner, lively music for dancing, a silent auction, a folklorico show, prizes and loads of good fun. It all starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm.

Tickets cost just $300 pesos and can be purchased at Piña Colada Restaurant, Xaltemba Restaurant, Remax, at the Thursday Market, or from Dentist Abraham Lopez.

The money earned goes to match grants with other Rotary clubs in the US and Canada and Rotary International. The evening is about fellowship and good fun. It is also about recognizing key volunteers who are dedicated to the betterment of their community.
