Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Vallarta Garden Club is pleased to have Bruce Beckler, an experienced "Ornamental Horticulturist" from Vancouver, B.C. as a presenter at our general meeting this coming Thursday.

Bruce has worked with two major botanical gardens and has spent twenty years with the Vancouver Parks system. If you've been to Vancouver, you likely know how beautiful the City gardens are - thanks to Bruce.

Our subject is "The Right Plant, the Right Place." Bruce will be helping us determine how and why some plants seem to thrive while others don't. It should be a lively discussion with opportunity for you to ask your question!

The meeting is this coming Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 am, at the Paradise Community Center, located at Pulpito #127 on the South side of Puerto Vallarta.

You'll also get an update on the Bugambilia Festival, which is just around the corner, May 9-11. Pick up your tickets for the special events at the meeting - the Opening Event Cocktail Party on Friday night, the afternoon Tea on Saturday, and the special Mother's Day Brunch and Fashion Show on Sunday.
