Mamas in Puerto Vallarta Host Picnic / Charity Benefit

September 11, 2014

Pack up your picnic basket and join Mamas in PV at El Jardin de la Luna on Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to 2 pm for an action packed morning filled with lots of love and tons of fun!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Mamas in PV is a group of friends with two things in common: they are mothers and they love Puerto Vallarta. Although from different places around the world and Mexico, they all agree that Puerto Vallarta is the ideal place to live, make new friends and raise their children.

In this spirit of community, they have organized a Picnic to benefit Pasitos de Luz, a local organization that provides vital services to disabled children and their families living in extreme poverty in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding communities. All of these services are provided 100% free of charge.

Pack up your picnic basket and join Mamas in PV at El Jardin de la Luna on Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to 2 pm for an action packed morning filled with lots of surprises and tons of fun for the entire family! While the kiddies play, Mamas can sit back, relax, have a drink, make new friends, or discuss your child's future while networking with other Mamas in PV.

Admission is free, but Mamas in PV ask that you support the Pasitos de Luz Association by either donating funds or much-needed supplies, or by volunteering your time to help care for these unfortunate children and their families.

At the entrance to the event Mamas in PV will be collecting trash bags, toilet paper, baby powder, washcloths, liquid soap, detergent and other basic items to be put to immediate use at this wonderful facility that is helping kids, one step at a time.

This is a great opportunity to dig into your hearts, closets and wallets to achieve great results during the Picnic, where you'll enjoy:

10-11:30 am: Story Time - Miss Caroline Crow de Gutiérrez, an English teacher at Kindergym Nuevo Vallarta, will delight kids of all ages with songs and stories in English.

11 am to 12 pm: Painting Workshop by Pitayo Arte y Terapia - At this event they will give the first 10 mamas who register a small painting workshop where you will create your own master piece to take home. Don't forget to bring clothes that can be stained.

10 am to 2 pm: Photo Booth - Mama Aimee Jewel will have an area with props and country theme items to take a fun family photograph. Just what you need for your Facebook page.

10 am to 2 pm: Brincolin - Inflatable Trampoline by Gymboree. Put on your socks and enjoy an afternoon of... BOUNCING!

So don't forget to mark your calendar for Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to 2 pm and join us for an afternoon of fun and giving at El Jardín de la Luna. Remember to bring a picnic blanket, an umbrella, plenty of food and refreshments for you and your children, a bottle of your favorite bubbly for yourself (if you wish,) and a little something for the kids at Pasitos de Luz.

Through September 12th, Cupocity is offering a free coupon good for a Complimentary Ticket to the Third Mamas in PV get-together at El Jardín de la Luna on September 27th. Download your coupon today to have the time of your life with your kids!
