Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The 2014-2015 theater season officially opens in Puerto Vallarta with the return of funny man and playwright, Del Shores, who'll present 'My Sordid Best' on the ACT II Main Stage at 8 pm on October 25th; and the international premiere of his newest award-winning movie, Southern Baptist Sissies on November 1st at 7:00 pm, followed by an encore performance of 'My Sordid Best' at 10 pm.

Southern Baptist Sissies for One Night Only on the ACT II Main Stage

Southern Baptist Sissies is the live film of the GLAAD Award winning play written by Del Shores in 2000 that tells the story of four boys who are gay growing up in the Southern Baptist Church. It explores the conflict between the caustic rhetoric of dogmatic religion and the fragile development of adolescent homosexuality while challenging hypocrisy, exposing damage and offering hope. Recently released in the US, the film will make its international premiere in the ACT II Main Stage Theater in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Saturday, November 1st at 7 pm.
