Swingin' on a Star
December 13th at 7:30 pm & December 15th at 9:30 pm

Act II brings Vallarta something new this week! Elizabeth Ensor, David Lyons, and Bob Bruneau have put together a trio that highlights the music of Johnny Mercer, and Jimmy Van Heusen.

These two powerhouses wrote for Hollywood, Broadway, and dominated the world of popular music from the 30's through the 70's. Frank Sinatra recorded over 70 songs by Jimmy Van Heusen; including Come, Fly With Me and Ain't That a Kick in the Head.

Johnny Mercer wrote the lyrics to over 1500 songs. You'll hear a lot of his songs that will make you scratch your head and think, "I didn't know he wrote that!" Some called him a genius, some called him a folk-poet, and some compared his lyrics to the writings of some of the great authors of the Deep South. He was, and still is "Savannah, Georgia's Favorite Son." His songs include: Moon River, Blues in the Night, and That Old Black Magic.

Stand up Comedienne Helen Hong
December 16th at 9:30 pm, December 17th & 18th at 7:30 pm

Helen Hong is a comedian, TV personality, dating coach, and star of TV Guide Network's "Count it Down" series and Logo Channel's reality dating series "Setup Squad." Helen's adorable stage presence and mischievous point of view have landed her on The Huffington Post's 'Favorite Female Comedians' list and a profile in The New York Times. She's been featured on Fuse, E!, TLC and PBS.

Helen is the creator and host of a popular comedy-matchmaking event called "Laugh Match." She stars as a professional wing-woman in Logo Channel's "Setup Squad," a reality series about a New York dating agency. The Amazing Cashetta

Cashetta has delighted audiences for over 18 years with her outrageous wit, charm and crossover appeal and remains one of America's most beloved, unique and sought after female impersonators. As a Singer, Comic, Emcee, Magician and Fabulous Psychic Medium, Cashetta is a one of a kind entertainer that is not to be missed!

Her production and cabaret shows have toured internationally and continue to play to packed houses. Direct from Las Vegas, where she stars as 'The Mistress of Sensuality' in Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity, Edie (famed drag diva Christopher Kenney) has also performed on Broadway in The Threepenny Opera with Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper, on the MTV Video Music Awards with Roseanne and on HBO's Sex and the City. Kim Kuzma

Kim Kuzma's extensive vocal range and sassy stage presence have earned her a reputation as a dynamic performer. Kim and her band perform her sold-out hit Acoustico show on Sunday nights at 7:30 pm and Wednesday Night Fever show, a high energy throwback to the disco divas, on Wednesdays at 9:30 pm. According to the Bay Area Reporter's Mister Marcus, Kim Kuzma is "An absolute hit with the audience! Keep an eye on this name!"
