Ring in the Holidays with ACT II Entertainment

December 23, 2014

Act II STAGES is located in the Zona Romantica, on the corner of Insurgentes and Basilio Badillo, just a short stroll from the beach on the South side of Puerto Vallarta. For more info, call (322) 222-1512.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - This holidays season, the ACT II Entertainment complex has plenty of live entertainment to keep everyone amused. In addition to the Main Stage productions listed below, there's a full line-up of musical entertainment planned for The Red Room Cabaret and Encore Piano Bar.

Celebrate the holiday season with 'Walk Like A Man' on the ACT II Main Stage
December 23rd and 24th at 8:00 pm

Walk Like A Man pays tribute to the hugely popular New Jersey-based recording stars Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The show features 23-year-old singing sensation Paul Fracassi, a former Star Search and Canadian Idol semi-finalist and graduate of Toronto's famous St. Elizabeth School for the Performing Arts. His vocal range and showmanship are always a big hit with audiences. Fracassi's backup band, featuring some of Toronto's top musicians, provides the famous back beat and vocal harmonies of The Four Seasons, with a thrilling fidelity that will make you feel you're discovering them for the first time.

"Walk Like A Man" was inspired by Jersey Boys, the hit movie and stage play about the life and times of The Four Seasons. But the songs are all that the two entities share. Walk Like A Man is a sixties-style concert that presents a nostalgic look at The Four Seasons' amazing body of work. Paul Fracassi's show, featuring the group's greatest hits, is the kind of show that made the young Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito rich and famous. It may someday do the same for young Paul Fracassi.

Songs featured in the show include December '63, Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, Dawn and of course, Walk Like A Man. Powerful music, fabulous vocals, in a word, unforgettable. Tickets for the 8 pm shows on December 23rd and 24th are on sale now at VallartaTickets.com. Get yours TODAY!

Les Femmes de Serge
December 25th, 26th & 27th at 8:00 pm

Back by popular demand! Don't miss this totally original, wonderfully eclectic show. The angelic harmonies of Les Femmes de Serge will knock your socks off! French-Mexican quartet "Les Femme des Serge" revisits popular French music (chanson Francoise) from the second half of the 20th century. Originated in Guadalajara Mexico, Les Femme des Serge, explores beautiful melodies that take listeners out of everyday reality, plunging them into a colorful pool if varied emotions. Some of the songs are funny, others full of melancholy. Florence and Mary introduce elements of performance that enlighten us or expand upon the context of the lyrics, all sung in French.

The Voice Of Vallarta Season 2
Sunday nights at 8:00 pm

Hosted once again by Juan Pablo Hernandez, each week the show will feature a new theme that all contestants must perform... regardless of their personal singing style or preference. This makes each competition a very unique experience in a very lively environment, as the contestants' friends and relatives routinely pack the Main Stage theater every Sunday night. The Voice of Vallarta will run every Sunday till the big closing night on March 29th. A Voice of Vallarta Pass is now available at VallartaTickets.com. This pass will get you into all auditions, seats in the first three rows, one cocktail per show, and seats for the big closing night. This year taking the judges' chairs are: PVMC Choral Director Alfonso Lopez, and returning to the table, Kharla Barragan, Carlos Santana and Elizabeth Ensor. Join us this Sunday as the remaining contestants take the stage.

Act II Entertainment founding partners, Elizabeth Ensor, Danny Minnini and David Restivo plan to continue bringing the highest level of entertainment to STAGES; where a complete evening of entertainment in any one of their three venues along with a delicious drink and appetizer menu is all in one beautiful, convenient location.

STAGES is located in the Zona Romantica, on the corner of Insurgentes and Basilio Badillo, just a short stroll from the beach on the South side of Puerto Vallarta. Valet parking is available. The box office is open daily from 2 to 10 pm. For more information, call (322) 222-2357, 222-1512, or "like" them on Facebook
