Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - If you haven't been to the ACT II Entertainment complex recently, you don't know what you're missing! In addition to the Main Stage productions listed below, there's a full line-up of musical entertainment going on in The Red Room Cabaret and Encore Piano Bar.

The Musical Comedy Murders Opens to Rave Reviews
Jan. 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 & 17th

Alain Perreault - "The motivation for going out is that one hopes to have a good time. This is precisely what is going to happen if you go see Act II Entertainment's newest comedy, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. Danny Mininni is at his best when he directs these types of plays. It works! The cast is good, the timing is precise, and the set looks impressive. One word: GO!"

From international award winning director Robert Maurac: "What a wonderful night, bravo again Danny Mininni for a superb direction of a cast full of energies. Please everybody start the new year with a bang, treat you to this hilarious show. Go to the facebook event page for a full list of reviews."

Secret passageways, Nazi saboteurs, and dead bodies combine to create a blizzard of mayhem in this sidesplitting comedy. Poking antic fun at the more ridiculous aspects of "show biz" and the corny thrillers of Hollywood's heyday, the play is a non-stop barrage of laughter as those assembled (or at least those who aren't killed off) untangle the mystery of the Stage Door Slasher. New York Magazine hails Murders as "the intelligent person's kind of nonsense." To tell you any more would spoil the fun. This Murder Mystery is a nonstop ride of laughs and mystery, directed by Danny Mininni. This is Danny's second time in the director's chair for this show. In 1990 his California production was honored by winning the L.A. TIMES Best Pick of the Week with extended runs and sold out shows. MCM of 1940 will be starring many of Vallarta's favorites, including Act II founding member Elizabeth Ensor, Mary Amelotte, Anthony St Martin, Roger Uscila, Stephanie Wright Watts, Adam Bishop, Salvador Ruiz, Cherry De Lorenzo, Heidi Pitts and Hal Bonta. Tickets can be purchased online at actiientertainment.com or at the box office.
