Natasha Moraga Makes Puerto Vallarta Shine Brighter

March 5, 2015

Always looking for opportunities to create public art on the streets of Puerto Vallarta, Natasha has added one more project to her growing portfolio - decorating the beach entrance benches on Calle Panama.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Natasha Moraga, the artist behind Mozako Vallarta, and her team (Carla Chavarria and Victor Salas) have completed their newest project in 5 de Diciembre.

Most people know Mozayko Vallarta from the Walls in Zona Romantic and in the Marina. Their purpose is to tell a story, to recreate the casual magic of Puerto Vallarta, and to bring that magic to light in a universal language - art.

Using pieces of stone, glass, mirror, ceramic, and other materials, Natasha and her team create beautiful mosaics on walls and benches in public spaces. Thanks to its aesthetic value and versatility, this technique has been used for centuries as an incorporated tool in architecture, as well as decoration and art. The results give us more reasons to visit the area and generate more tourist attraction.

Always looking for new opportunities to create public art on the streets of Puerto Vallarta, Natasha has added one more project to her growing portfolio. When Reg Bartel, a resident of 5 de Diciembre, approached Natasha for assistance in decorating some cement benches, she knew it should be done. Mr Bartel commissioned Mozayko to complete the benches on Panama street. After two months, the benches are completed - and they are gorgeous. If you have not checked out these gorgeous new benches, you can find them on Calle Panama - right on the beach!

Currently, Natasha and her team are busy finishing up a 450 square meter wall in Marina Vallarta, and are eager to get to work on the second part of the marina wall and other city projects. For more information on Mozayko Vallarta, or to get involved in making Puerto Vallarta shine brighter, contact Natasha Moraga at 322-121-0199 or mozaykovallarta(at)rocketmail.com.
