Puerto Vallarta Garden Club Meeting at NWJ! March 19

March 11, 2015

The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club is a multicultural organization, and we welcome involvement from the people who have the most to gain: local, part-time and year-round residents of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The PV Garden Club will hold their monthly meeting on March 19th at 11:00 am at No Way José! Restaurant.

This month's guest speaker will be Jane Peabody, a past V.P. of the San Francisco Garden Club. She will be speaking about, and demonstrating, floral arrangement. Jane was a flower arranger for 27 years at Filoli Gardens in Woodside, California.

During this time she also was involved with Bouquets to Art at the De Young Art Museum in San Francisco. This is a special event where she chose a painting and interpreted that painting in a flower arrangement placed in front of it.

She has also done arrangements for weddings, luncheons and other special occasions. Jane has loved flowers since she was a child and has created some gorgeous gardens over the years. Don't miss her entertaining and informative talk on March 19th at No Way José!, on the south side of downtown at 5 de Febrero #260, just over the Vallarta street bridge on your left heading south from the Malecón.

P.V. Garden Club would like to thank all who supported our fund-raiser at the Hacienda Palo Maria on February 26th. Those who contribute to "Beautifying Vallarta" are supporting not only a more beautiful, clean and verdant city, but making it more attractive to tourism, thus creating a vibrant economy to support all the other great causes in Puerto Vallarta.

Not a member of the Vallarta Garden Club? We'd love to have you join and help us continue the work of beautifying Puerto Vallarta.

Annual dues are only $300 pesos and are used to support the club's ongoing efforts to make Vallarta a more beautiful place.
