April 3, 2015

With the Novias y Bodas and Infashion magazine press trips the region will reach an audience perfectly attuned to the wedding, honeymoon and romantic offerings of Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Two Colombian magazines specializing in weddings, anniversaries and honeymoons — Novias y Bodas and Infashion — were invited to the region for a press trip this past February. They have already published their first articles in March, with more to come in September.

With the help of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur), representatives from the two magazines conducted their photo shoots and obtained all the information they needed.

Novias y Bodas published one article specifically about Mexico's Pacific Treasure, titled Riviera Nupcial ("Riviera Wedding"), and a second article that described both destinations' natural charms and excellent wedding services. The magazine has a run of 99 thousand quarterly issues distributed throughout Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Peru. It caters to a very specific segment, as its readers are professionals 25+ years of age with high purchasing power, who want to hold an exceptional wedding in paradise.

Infashion magazine publishes 68 thousand bimonthly issues and is distributed in Colombia; it's designed for the modern, urban woman. Its audience is mainly composed of women who closely follow the magazine's advice to the point of purchasing their recommendations.

According to their reader profile: "She's independent, professional, has good taste, is successful, sophisticated, elegant and worldly."

This is the type of actions put into effect by the public relations departments of the Riviera Nayarit CVB and Puerto Vallarta's Fidetur that continue to target the emerging market of Colombia and its environs.
