Galleria & Di Vino Dante Ready for 2015/2016 Season

September 23, 2015

Galleria Dante, the largest and most eclectic art gallery in Puerto Vallarta, is located at Basilio Badillo #269. For more information, call (322) 222-2477, or send an email to info(at)galleriadante.com.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - This October, Galleria Dante owners Claire and Joe Guarniere will be celebrating 20 years since they transformed their successful Italian restaurant of 7½ years into an art gallery.

Little did they know that what began as a semi-retirement from the long hours required to run a restaurant, and taking the time to pursue their hobby of collecting art, would grow into the largest art gallery in Vallarta, exhibiting the works of more than 50 artists.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Galleria Dante is offering 25-35% OFF many great items in the Gallery. This is a great time to find that special piece you've been looking for. But HURRY! The sale ends October 15.

Di Vino Dante

In 2013, Gena, born and raised in the family businesses, opened Di Vino Dante, a wine and Tapas bar overlooking the gallery's sculpture garden. In August of 2015, the restaurant closed for remodeling, but Di Vino Dante will reopen on October 5th (Mon-Sat 2-11 pm) with new menu items and a lot of new ideas that Gena will be slowly unveiling throughout the year.

DPA Project

The Dante Public Art Project is an opportunity to give back to the Puerto Vallarta and Bahia de Banderas Community. This project, in conjunction with the Fundacion Punta de Mita focuses on providing art created by Mexican, primarily Jalisco artists, to be placed in public areas in an effort to showcase the talent that can be found in our already beautiful Banderas Bay area. The Foundation provides Tax deductible receipts to Mexico, USA and Canada. For more information, send an email to info(at)galleriadante.com.
