Recipes and Real Estate: Salsa & Margaritas in Icon 1801

September 7, 2015
In this edition of Recipes & Real Estate, Laura Gelezunas and the 'Kitchenettes' show us how to make Black Bean Salsa and Peach Margaritas from the kitchen of Icon Vallarta Condominium 1801.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Recipes and Real Estate, because it's the kitchen that sells the house. In this episode, Laura Gelezunas & the Kitchenettes show us how to make Black Bean Salsa and Peach Margaritas in the kitchen of Icon Condo 1801.

Icon Vallarta, one of the most exclusive and elegant beach front condominium residence to rise along Puerto Vallarta's Bahia de Banderas, is located in the center of the city just blocks from the Puerto Vallarta Maritime Terminal.

Condo 1801, on the 18th floor in Tower 1, is a spacious (just over 1200 sq. ft.) and elegant condo with one bedroom and one bathroom. It features floor to ceiling sliding windows so you can let the ocean breezes lull you any time of the day.

The master suite opens to the wrap-around balcony with ocean, mountain and marina views. The condo boasts a modern kitchen with professional appliances and plenty of space to relax.

The recipes that were made in the video include a savory salsa and a sweet margarita. There are no specific measurements, just use your taste buds to adjust the ingredients to your liking.

Black Bean Salsa

• 1 can black beans (around 20 oz)
• 2 roma tomatoes, diced
• 1 small can of corn (4 oz) or you can use a bigger can for your taste
• 1 bunch chopped cilantro
• 1 small red or white onion
• 1 or 2 jalapeρos, finely chopped (if you want it spicier add more)
• 1 tablespoon Cumin
• 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
• Sea Salt to taste

Mix all ingredients together and let set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Serve with chips or spoon over your favorite meat.

Peach Margarita

• 16 oz Peach Nectar
• 1 oz Simple Syrup
• 1 oz Orange Liquor
• 2 oz White Tequila
• Juice of 1 or 2 fresh limes

Mix all ingredients and serve over ice in a sugar-rimmed glass.

Buen Provecho!
