The third annual 2015 Pledge for Peace Campaign exceeded its fundraising goal of $450,000 USD, achieving a total of $523,000 dollars. All 56 donors are seasonal homeowners in the Punta de Mita area.

Punta de Mita, Mexico - PEACE Punta de Mita has wonderful news to share. Thanks to the generosity of 56 Punta de Mita area homeowners, the now completed third annual 2015 Pledge for Peace Campaign exceeded its fundraising goal of $450,000 USD, achieving a total of $523,000 dollars.

PEACE Punta de Mita is the beneficiary of a generous group of seasonal residents whose donations make the PPM programs possible, as well as in-kind donations from various commercial enterprises in the region, who donate services and materials that PEACE Punta de Mita would otherwise have to pay for out of donated funds.

About PEACE Punta de Mita: Peace Punta de Mita A.C. [PPM] was founded in April 1, 2013 by a small group of Punta de Mita area homeowners who, as seasonal residents, recognize the need to help to improve the social needs of the three Punta de Mita area villages. The mission of PPM is to facilitate local development based on self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and with full participation and ownership of the entire community. This is achieved through effective program implementation and delivery in three community service categories: Education, Community Pride, and Health/Lifestyle.

The 2015 Pledge for Peace Campaign: The recent Pledge for Peace campaign launched in May 2015, with the Peace Board Directors asking homeowners directly to collaborate and be part of this ambitious fundraising program that would greatly benefit the local community. It is important to point out that all 56 donors to the 2015 Pledge For Peace Campaign are seasonal homeowners of the Punta de Mita area. Eight new homeowner donors joined the Peace donor community last year.

In response to Peace's greatly expanded educational programs, an amazing 17 donors from the previous 2014 Pledge Campaign increased the value of their donation for 2015.

Additionally, the 56 donors mentioned above are just for 2015 Pledge for Peace Campaign and and this number does not include other important supporters of Peace for their other fundraising activities such as fundraising events like 'Flavors' and Fun Runs; Tuition Sponsorship, Kinder, or In-Kind donations.

On behalf of PEACE Punta de Mita Board of Directors, Advisors, Staff, and all beneficiaries; we would like to thank all donors for supporting the 2015 PLEDGE FOR PEACE.
