Bob's Karaoke Party
Every Wednesday at 8:00 pm

Join us every Wednesday at 7:00 pm for the biggest party of the summer! Encore Bar is the place where expats meet 'n greet every single Wednesday night - all summer long! The fun starts at 6:00 pm when we start the 2 x 1 drink special that lasts til 8:00 pm. At 7:00 pm, we start what has become the most fun you'll have in one place all summer long. This is your chance to play the fool, have some laughs, and hear some local talent in the air-conditioned comfort of Encore Lounge. Join PVGMC and ACT II Artistic Director Alfonso Lopez each week and watch your friends sing a song as you cheer them on.

The Book of Job
Opening Night: Saturday, July 2 at 7:00 pm

Musical Director Alfonso Lopez brings another evening filled with wonderful music and laughter to The Red Room Cabaret. Starring the last man standing: Job Hernandez. Job became very well known last year as the headline singer in The Encore Lounge located inside the Act II Entertainment complex and, most recently, as co-star in the show On The Radio that just ended a successful 3 week run on The Red Room Stage. What Job will bring to The Red Room will be very different than what he did in Encore. While very often Job was asked to "bring it down" in Encore, he will give it all he has in an explosive performance on The Red Room stage. As one fan put it, "Job is sexy and talented as hell." 2 Shows Only; July 2 & July 23 at 7 pm.

PVGMC Music Sing-Along
Tuesday, July 5th at 8:00 pm

Act II Entertainment's Movie Music Sing Along was such a huge success that they are doing it again on Tuesday, July 5th at 8:00 pm, as we remember the victims of Orlando and Veracruz. With your hosts Marsha Ward Ross and Alfonso Lopez, we will sit around the stage in Encore Lounge and sing along to some of the best songs in the history of movie musicals. In addition to the lyrics being projected on the big screen, you will get a song book so you can join in the fun. You'll also enjoy Stand Up BINGO benefiting the PVGMC. The Act II Sing-Along was created as a fun way to raise money for the Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus (PVGMC). For many years the Chorus has had to go from rehearsal space to rehearsal space with no home during the high season to perform. Now, with your help, we are building a FOREVER HOME for the PVGMC on the roof of Act II Entertainment. Hobos no more. So, please come join in the fun and at the same time help build a forever home for the Chorus before winter comes and they are left out in the snow.

Be Italian - Starring Gloria
Opening Night: Saturday, July 9 at 7:00 pm

'Be Italian,' starring the hilarious and talented Gloria Fiona, who will tell you she is not from Italy, she is from ROME, opens on July 9 in The Red Room. Gloria first became popular as someone in the crowd who stepped up to sing Karaoke one night last summer in the Encore Lounge. The crowd went wild, and the next week she won a contest that placed her as a singer in the Act II Back to School Fundraiser. Gloria went on to be the crowd favorite and the 2nd place winner in Voice Of Vallarta Season 3, beating out hundreds of contestants. Most recently, Gloria closed her show On The Radio, and she was what EVERYONE talked about. "This girl is funny as hell and she can sing, she should be in the high season lineup," said everyone in attendance. Gloria will perform Be Italian, directed by Alfonso Lopez, for 2 Shows Only; July 9 & July 30 at 7 pm.

Alfonso Lopez is quickly becoming a top producer in Puerto Vallarta - not only as the musical director of the PVGMC, but also as the artistic director for Act II Entertainment. Alfonso is now in pre-production for the Tony-award-winning-musical, Avenue Q, which will be opening on The Main Stage sometime in early November.

Broken English - Starring Eli
Opening Night: Saturday, July 16 at 7:00 pm

Eli Estrada, The girl who would take the prize. Crowned the 2016 Voice Of Vallarta, Eli has not wasted time. Eli has just finished a very successful run of On The Radio in The Red Room and has been cast in a leading role in next season's Avenue Q. Eli was also the winner of the Voice of Vallarta's much-coveted Cabaret Week, taking the audience by storm with her humor and incredible stage presence. The price for winning such a night is THIS SHOW. After 5 months of rehearsal and private coaching from producer and director Alfonso Lopez, Eli has created a show that will be sure to make you laugh, cry and cheer. Performed in 'Broken English,' Eli is sure to be a High Season hit! 2 Shows Only; July 16 & August 6 at 7 pm.
