Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - As part of their Every Tuesday Night Film series, the Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad Mexico is proud to present the last movie of the season, 'Before the Flood.' This 2016 documentary film about climate change will be shown at The Jazz Foundation in downtown Puerto Vallarta on April 4th at 7:00 pm.

If you aren't aware that Leonardo DiCaprio cares deeply about climate change, then you haven't been paying attention to the Oscar winner's many awareness efforts. DiCaprio's latest project is the documentary Before the Flood directed by Fisher Stevens, in which the actor - who appears in the film and serves as executive producer - examines how much damage we have caused to the planet and whether or not we'll be able to reverse it. The film shows DiCaprio visiting various regions of the globe exploring the impact of man-made global warming. As a narrator, DiCaprio comments these encounters as well as archive footages. DiCaprio's comments and inquiries focus extensively on climate change denial, mostly among corporate lobbyists and politicians of the United States.

Advance tickets can be purchased after 6:00 pm daily at the Jazz Foundation for a donation of 60 pesos. On screening day, tickets can be purchased at the door for 70 pesos. Please come early (doors open at 6 pm) and enjoy fantastic food and drinks before the film starts.
