An Evening of Art & Wine at Puerto Vallarta's Taller OPC

July 12, 2018

Make plans now to come to the OPC on Wednesday, July 25. You'll enjoy a pop-up wine bar with Uncork Mexico's delicious wines and a guided tour of the You Are Here: Cartographies of a Destination exhibition.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Uncork Mexico has partnered with Taller OPC - Oficina de Proyectos Culturales to offer Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors an evening of wine and art on Wednesday, July 25 at 6:30 pm. You'll enjoy a pop-up wine bar with Uncork Mexico's most delicious wines, and a guided gallery walk-through of the You Are Here: Cartographies of a Destination exhibition.

The third and final edition of the "You Are Here" series curated by architect Oscar Morán Guillén, "Cartographies of a Destination" continues to reflect upon urban space in our city. It seeks to identify the different facets of the historical development of the region, the different cultural influences over time, as well as the recent development boom's consequences and ramifications.

During this special event, Oscar Moran and some of the exhibit's participating artists will be on hand to answer all of your questions, so make plans now to attend.

Entrance to the OPC is FREE but, if you plan to attend, please RSVP to hola(at)uncorkmexico.com, so organizers can plan accordingly.

Located at Juarez #598 at the corner of Aldama in downtown Puerto Vallarta, The Office for Cultural Projects (OPC) is an independent, non-profit organization, dedicated to fostering contemporary art through exhibitions, round table conversations, public art initiatives, and educational service programs. It was born with the desire to contribute to the reflection on the contemporary socio-cultural and artistic environment, with the purpose of sharing with the inhabitants and visitors of Puerto Vallarta. OPC works with different creators such as artists, architects, curators, academics and writers who contribute to the construction of our notion of city and contribute to the cultural landscape linked to Puerto Vallarta but of global reach.
Uncork Mexico, a new wine shop and concierge service launched in 2017, offers residents and visitors of Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta and Bucerías the opportunity to participate in guided wine tastings, and to purchase delicious wines at reasonable prices with their handy wine concierge service.
