New Art Exhibition by Angeline Kyba Opens February 7

January 31, 2019

Everyone is invited to come to Casa Brava, Angeline Kyba's home studio in downtown Puerto Vallarta, on February 7 from 6-9 pm to celebrate the opening of her annual exhibition, which features 40+ paintings.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - Don't miss the opening reception of Angeline Kyba's newest art works on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come to the artist's home studio in downtown Puerto Vallarta to celebrate the opening of the exhibition, which features 40 + oil paintings, and will be on display until May 30.

One of Mexico's fine figurative painters, Kyba offers portraits and paintings in oil, large and small. She paints her neighbors, animals, creatures and all things organic and living. Kyba paints what she see and what she feels.

Her work expresses her experiences of living in Mexico for more than 20 years and her rich history often living in the wilds of Yelapa where the jungle, the charreadas and all of the animal and creatures were such a part of everyday life.

National Geographic has recently used her "Portrait of Carmen" for a second printing. Kyba's "Portrait of Miriam Reclining" was featured in the Quinta Bienal de Monterrey and subsequently published in their book.

Her painting "Besame" was the cover for the book Erotic Journeys, and her work has been collected by collectors such as Cindy Crawford and Connie Francis and museums world wide. Her works can be seen on Facebook @angelinekyba.

Angeline Kyba Fine Art Studio is open to visitors weekdays Mondays to Fridays from 12 to 5 pm. Come see her work; do something yourselves, a drawing, perhaps; buy a piece of art, commission a portrait or just enjoy a behind the scenes look at the art of Mexico.

Casa Brava, Angeline Kyba's home studio, is located at Cuauhtemoc #635, just follow Guerrero in El Centro, it is the same street, the last house, please ring the bell. To make your appointment, please call (322) 222-4238 or send an email to angiekyba(at)gmail.com.
