Autism02 Clínica Hiperbarica
email this pageprint this pageemail usImproving the Lives of Children with Autism

For more information, visit the Autism02 website. To contact AutismO2 with questions, appointments, or donations, please call (322) 223-2006 or stop by the clinic at Peru 1068, Colonia 5 de Diciembre in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
AutismO2 is the only non-profit organization in Puerto Vallarta dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families facing autism using the Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) protocol. Bringing hope and awareness to those affected by autism, AutismO2 understands that autism is not the incurable disease of the past, but curable when treated early, properly, and effectively.

The goals of AutismO2 are to treat and recover children on all levels of the autism spectrum, as well as to educate physicians, parents, and the community.

Weekly parent support meetings are held every Thursday at 7 pm and are open to the public. Parents are welcome to attend with or without their special needs children, but children are always welcome at the AutismO2 clinic.

Among the services offered at AutismO2 are informative speaker presentations from out-of-town guests who work in a field that overlaps autism, Intravenous (IV) Chelation Therapy, and an allergist with an expertise in autism who visits from Mexico City every three months.

AutismO2 is very proud to have obtained the highly successful Hyperbaric Chamber. Treatments are conducted through the chamber by sending oxygen into the brain where there has been neuron damage thus helping the child safely recover from a state of hypoxia. The chamber is also available for hire by the public.

Since many of the Puerto Vallarta children with autism the clinic serves come from low income families, the founders of AutismO2 often have to supply the necessary supplements and cover the cost of administration. With this in mind, AutismO2 is always seeking additional funding.

For more information on how you can help improve the lives of children with autism, visit the Autism02 website. To contact AutismO2 with questions, appointments, or donations, please call (322) 223-2006 or stop by the clinic at Peru 1068, Colonia 5 de Diciembre in downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Autism02 is sponsored by Banana Cantina Restaurant. Located on the corner of Pulpito and Amapas in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, bANANaCANtiNA serves creative Contemporary Mexican and International Cuisine in an eclectic, yet comfortable, atmosphere.
