"Mita to Mismaloya" Video Tour
email this pageprint this pageemail usPVNN

From the North Coast of Nayarit to the South Coast of Vallarta, the Banderas Bay area has become a prime retirement and vacation destination, and PromoVision has caught most of it on film. Take a look at these "Mita to Mismaloya" videos for a taste of the charm and spirit you'll find in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. (PromoVision)

Punta Mita
Punta de Mita is located 26 miles from Puerto Vallarta, at the northern tip of Banderas Bay in the beautiful state of Nayarit. Punta de Mita is, and will continue to develop into, one of Mexico's ultra-exclusive resort areas. Home to the Four Seasons Resort and Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, Punta Mita offers everything you'd expect in an exclusive beach vacation destination.
Nuevo Vallarta
Nuevo Vallarta, just 15 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, is classified as the first nautical tourist and residencial development in Latin America. Home to luxury villas and estates with lush gardens, deluxe resorts, and over 3 miles of sweeping white sand beaches, Nuevo Vallarta also has 3 championship golf courses, a dolphin center, and a 300-slip marina.
Marina Vallarta
Marina Vallarta is the largest and most sophisticated marina complex in all of Mexico - and one of the most prestigious residential areas in Puerto Vallarta. Bordered by condominium projects with swimming pools and tennis courts, the Malecon is lined with shops, art galleries and restaurants. In this area, you'll also find waterfront town homes, luxury villas and an 18-hole golf course.
Downtown Puerto Vallarta
The downtown area of Puerto Vallarta is the site of the original village and often referred to as "Old Town" or "El Centro." Here, locals and expatriates live side-by-side in the traditional homes, apartments and condos that share the cobblestone streets with historic buildings, shops, art galleries and restaurants. Luxury homes and villas in Gringo Gulch overlook the downtown area.
Olas Altas
Also known as Los Muertos or the Romantic Zone, everything you could possible need is within walking distance in the Olas Altas residential neighborhood. Here you'll find traditional homes and beachfront condominiums along with grocery stores, shops and boutiques, restaurants and bars, coffee shops and internet cafes - and Playa Los Muertos - the most popular beach in Puerto Vallarta.
Conchas Chinas
Just south of Los Muertos Beach, you'll find some of the most prestigious residential neighborhoods in Puerto Vallarta. Often called "the Beverly Hills of Vallarta," Conchas Chinas, Punta Negra, Garza Blanca, and Las Amapas feature ocean-front and hillside homes, villas, and condos that offer spectacular views, privacy and exclusivity, yet easy access to all of the amenities in town.
Mismaloya
Though best known as the place where "Night of the Iguana" was filmed in 1963, the small bay side village of Mismaloya also offers a beautiful beach, a rich jungle backdrop, and some of the most breathtaking homes, villas and condominiums in Puerto Vallarta. Located on the South Coast of Banderas Bay, Mismaloya offers homeowners privacy, seclusion, and easy access to any part of town.
