The US News & World Report online travel guide recently listed Vallarta Botanical Gardens as the 3rd 'Best Attraction' in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Since opening the Gardens gates in 2004, Vallarta Botanical Gardens (VBG) has won international accolades as a not-to-be missed highlight of any trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Most recently US News & World Report online travel guide listed VBG as #3 in the "Best Puerto Vallarta Attractions" category.

The city of Puerto Vallarta was also listed as the number one destination in the travel guide's "Best Mexican Vacations: 2010" category, surpassing other popular Mexican destinations such as Mexico City and Cancun.

At Vallarta Botanical Gardens, hundreds of collections of native tropical plants such as orchids, anthuriums, agaves as well as colorful flowering trees are to be found on meandering jungle pathways - and October is the peak month of the year for observing butterflies in their native habitat.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm, Vallarta Botanical Gardens is located on Highway 200 South at Km 24, and 2 kilometers past Las Juntas y Los Veranos. Entrance to the Gardens is $50 pesos for non-members and includes a free glass of lemonade, your best vacation value.

Located 30 minutes south of Old Town at Km. 24 on Highway 200, Vallarta Botanical Gardens offer something to keep every age group happy; from a Rose Garden for the romantic to jungle trails for the adventurous and a Carnivorous Plants area for the younger generation! The Botanical Gardens' vibrant and elegant settings also offer the perfect venue for weddings and special occasions.
