Another Great Night of Charity Bingo at Nacho Daddy

October 25, 2010

On October 19th, over 150 people enjoyed another great night of Charity Bingo at Nacho Daddy, while raising another $17,000 pesos for Pasitos de Luz. (photos by Elias Solorzano)
WOW! They came out in droves this week for the second night of Charity Bingo for Pasitos de Luz at Nacho Daddy. Many arrived nice and early, got great seats, had a little bite and a cocktail or two, caught up with old friends and made some new friends - all before bingo even began.

On October 19th it was SRO at Nacho Daddy, with over 150 people spilling into the restaurant's spacious VIP lounge. It made for a rousing evening of bingo with the wonderful Debbie Egan of Banana Cantina calling out the numbers, with back up from Robert Hilton of Fuego (formerly Banana Cantina) practicing his Spanish, good on ya, Robert! They were joined by Vallarta Bombero, Mario Angel Perez Gutierrez, who came out to support the charity. Thank you Mario.

Author Judith St. Gaudens started the night off with winning the first bingo. She said she´ll be putting all of those wonderful prizes to good use with her visitors over the next couple of months. I even think she may have already made her reservations with the PVRPV discount too! You go girl!

Robin Spenser of CasaDelAngelPV.com was back to sell the highly anticipated Raffle tickets and did a bang up job. The evening's raffle prize was drawn just before beginning the second half of the festivities and was donated by Denise Derameé of BanderasNews. The full page ad on BanderasNews.com was won by none other than our own Debbie Egan. All Mistress Debbie would say is that she knows just what she's going to use it for...

The Fabulous 50/50 Chica, Carole Fast of Xocodiva, was out and about doing her thing, raising a whopping $2605 pesos for the draw at the break. Charity Bingo 50/50 past winner, Dee Rindt of Dee's Coffee drew the winning ticket which was won by the man himself, Patrick Harrison of P. Gringo Marketing & PR. Cocktails on Pato!

The second half speed right along and wrapped up with the delectable gift basket from La Bodega de Nina, won by Cathy Wightman. Nina did say that she might, just might, mind you, have some of her most fabulous, delicious cookies available separately for purchase next bingo. Maybe if a few more birdies tweeted in her ear, the might can turn into a for sure! These are so awesome!

All in all, over $17,000 pesos was raised for a running total of just over $30,000 pesos for this very worthy charity. Fantastic! We are well on our way to achieving our goal of $200,000 pesos and it can't be done without the sponsors, donors and volunteers – thank you all so very much - but especially, it can't be done without you!

A very sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU goes out from all of us to all of you for your generosity and continued support. It means so much to the Pasitos kids and is appreciated, so very, very much.
