October 12, 2010

The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club will hold its next meeting at the Rivera Cuale condo complex on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11 am.
The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club, a new club for plant lovers, beauty lovers, civic lovers and Vallarta lovers, will hold its next meeting on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11 am at the Rivera Cuale condo complex (on the north side of the river.)

Click HERE for directions. Also, this might help:

Located on the east side of the river, right across from the Zona Romantica, and pretty much kitty corner to Los Arbolitos Restaurant, except between there is a river and the bridge. The R04 bus goes up Lazaro Cardenas, goes over the bridge and turns LEFT into Colonia El Caloso. The bus usually says "Caloso" or "PA (Paso Ancho) Caloso" on the front.

People can get off at the bridge and walk to the development from the garden path entrance at the bottom of the stairs off the bridge. Or they can take the bus around the corner to the left and get off by the church and walk in a block to the main entrance. Some parking should be available within the development and there is usually space on the street as well.

Everyone is welcome to join us and assist in beautifying Puerto Vallarta for residents and visitors alike. First projects include the PVGC Planting at Los Mangos on October 16th and, with local and city approval, the planting and refurbishing Parque Lazaro Cardenas and the Malecón. Membership dues, cash and Bingo for Bougainvilias prizes are gladly accepted.

Puerto Vallarta Garden Club is a not-for-profit organization striving to improve and beautify Vallarta through planting trees and flowers in public areas. New members are always welcome. Spanish discussions are being pursued. Anyone bilingual is being sought. Visit PuertoVallartaGC.org for upcoming events and scheduled meetings.
