Flower and Garden Show at Vallarta Botanical Gardens

February 20, 2013
The Vallarta Botanical Gardens' 5th Annual Flower and Garden Show starts this weekend. The show will feature garden and floral demonstrations and activities, with vendors from the area displaying their craft.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Vallarta Botanical Gardens is hosting its Fifth Annual Flower and Garden Show from Friday, February 22nd, through Sunday, March 3rd.

Many of the Gardens’ celebrated native and exotic flower collections will be in peak bloom from February to early March and you are invited to celebrate this unique moment of time with us in a week of expositions and special displays. The show will be teeming with garden and floral related demonstrations and activities, with vendors from all over the Bandreras Bay area displaying their craft. Floral designs, vanilla orchid plants, blooming orchids, rare plants, handmade baskets, local pottery and more will be available for purchase.

In addition to their 1 pm daily tour, the Garden will be offering special tours of the Holstein Vanilla and Orchid Conservatory each day at noon during this incredible event. The Mike Laking Floral Photo Exhibit will also be on display for the duration of the show.

As anyone who has visited the area before knows, a day spent enjoying the Gardens would not be complete without a stop at the fabulous Hacienda de Oro Restaurant. You'll want to use this opportunity to enjoy the restaurant which is the focal point of the gardens. Overlooking the sparkling Rio Los Horcones, Hacienda de Oro is the perfect setting for a dining experience that will make your day at the Flower and Garden Show one you won't soon forget.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the Vallarta Botanical Gardens' Fifth Annual Flower and Garden Show. Entrance to the Gardens is $60 pesos for non-members and free for all Vallarta Botanical Garden members. The Gardens are located 30 minutes south of Old Town at Km. 24 on Highway 200.
