March Madness at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens

Vallarta Botanical Gardens is celebrating Spring with March Madness! In addition to the 20 acres of native tropical plants and flowering trees, there are many upcoming events you won't want to miss!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Since opening the Gardens gates in 2004, Vallarta Botanical Gardens has won international accolades as a not-to-be missed highlight of any trip to Puerto Vallarta. In addition to the 20 acres of native tropical plants and flowering trees, there are many upcoming events you won't want to miss!

Upcoming Events at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens

• Thursday, March 14th - Salza y Salsa: - Starting at 12:00 and ending at 4:00 pm. Our guest Chef will be doing 3 workshops on 3 different salsa?, along with a "make your own tortilla" class. Latin Motion PV will have 2 instructors to help you "get your Latin groove "on. $250 pesos per person for the entire event.

• Wednesday, March 20th - Psychic Fair / Spring Equinox: A new beginning as we welcome Spring. Tarot, Palm reading, Energy Cleansing... all at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens! Readings are based on donations and or separate charges by the readers. The only fee is the entrance to the gardens. A spiritual ceremony will open the festivities at 12:00 noon.

• Thursday, March 21st - Bikers and Bugambilia: Join us from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm along with the Puerto Vallarta Motoclub, "69-Ovejas-Negras" as they roll down Hwy 200. Fashion show, DJ (from 1 to 4 pm), biker photo studio, and with love from No Way José! ... Hot Chile and Maracuya Margaritas. Cost is the entrance fee to the gardens, $60 pesos. If you have a bike... ride it up!

• Saturday and Sunday March 23 and 24 - Yoga Retreat Weekend: The event begins at 11:00 pm and ends at 5:00 pm with classes running every other 45 minutes. Several packages are available. Shanti Studio, Anya4Yoga, Yoga Vallarta, Pat Henry, and many other instructors will be on hand. Kids are welcomed too! Enjoy a gardens tour or just wander around on break. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling any of the studios or Steve at 322.223.6182. A special overnight package at Casa La Ventana in Boca is also available.
