Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico - Celebrities continue to be attracted to Riviera Nayarit. This time it was actress Angela Bassett who joined the list of stars who vacation in the destination known as 'Mexico's Pacific Treasure.'

As revealed by JuicyMagOnline.com, the actress stayed at the Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit with her two sons, Slater and Bronwyn, with whom she frolicked on the beach and in the pool, but she was also seen with her daughter in the Tatewari SPA, where both received a pedicure.

The holiday was taken just days before the premiere of the third season of 'American Horror Story,' which airs on FX.

This was not the first time Bassett has vacationed at Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit. In 2012, the whole family, including her husband, fellow actor Courtney B. Vance, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with their children at this hotel.

Over the past few years, Riviera Nayarit has become one of the preferred destinations for celebrities, with well-known personalities like Thierry Henry, Kate Hudson, Felicity Huffman, Gerry Lopez, sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Courteney Cox, Charlie Sheen, Mario Lopez, Sofia Vergara, Kirsten Dunst, Juliette Lewis, Eva Longoria, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Kendra Wilkinson, Mayim Bialik and Tori Spelling vacationing in Mexico's Pacific Treasure.

The work being done by the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is evident through visits like these, which help position it as one of the world's best vacation destinations, and accentuate the importance of improving visitors' experiences at area hotels, restaurants, and service providers.
