Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Becas Vallarta's first breakfast of the new year will be held on Wednesday, January 15th, at 9:30 am at Daiquiri Dick's. Becas Vallarta, A.C. is a foundation dedicated to raising money to provide scholarships for Puerto Vallarta's young people, 8th grade through university. To qualify for a scholarship students must come from a Puerto Vallarta family of limited economic resources, maintain a grade point average of 8.5, and be a good citizen in school and at home. Once they earn a scholarship we continue it as long as they meet the criteria.

This fun event helps to keep our coffers full to fund our almost 400 scholarship students. We will have a fabulous menu, served hot by Daiquiri Dick's renowned efficient and courteous waiters.

As usual, we have a fantastic array of prizes you can win in our raffle, with ticket prices at just $50 pesos for one or $100 pesos for three tickets. The generous business people of Vallarta never fail to help the young people of this village by donating to our every event. We'll also have great items to bid on in our silent auction.

So get ready to greet returning friends, visiting friends from the cold North, and new friends at this first Becas Event of this season. Upcoming events include the February 19th Becas Breakfast at the River Café, the March 8th Becas Ball, and the April 16th Becas Breakfast at Coco's fabulous restaurant on Púlpito.
