Orchids Conservatory Scheduled for Completion in June

The completion of the Vallarta Botanical Gardens' orchid conservatory, which will house the largest collection of native Mexican Orchids on public display in the country, is scheduled for June 2014.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - A vision of the Vallarta Botanical Gardens that has simmered on the back burner for the past few years - the Vallarta Conservatory of Mexican Orchids - is scheduled for completion this month!

The conservatory's roof is now ready for the polycarbonate panels due to arrive here any day now. After the installation of these panels, there's only a few finishing details before this building is complete. By June 16th, Garden staff will begin work on design and installation for the conservatory displays.

Even before construction is over the Garden's have set their sights towards fundraising for this next phase along with the conservatory's first year operational budget and the completion of the new orchid laboratory:

Contributions are still needed and the matching funds of up to $50,000 USD offer has been extended until the end of this year!
