Democrats Abroad Wednesday Film: 'Which Way Home'

March 23, 2015

Don't miss your chance to see 'Which Way Home.' Advance tickets are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the International Friendship Club for a donation of $60 pesos.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - As part of their Every Wednesday Night Film series, the Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad Mexico is proud to present this week's movie, Which Way Home. This timely documentary, which depicts the realities of children fleeing poverty and violence coming to the US from Central America, will be shown at the International Friendship Club on Wednesday, March 25th at 7:00 pm.

Which Way Home - As the United States continues to build a wall between itself and Mexico, 'Which Way Home' shows the personal side of immigration through the eyes of children who face harrowing dangers with enormous courage and resourcefulness as they endeavor to make it to the United States from Central America. We follow children like Olga and Freddy, nine-year old Hondurans, who are desperately trying to reach their parents in the US.; children like Jose, a ten-year old El Salvadoran, who has been abandoned by smugglers and ends up alone in a Mexican detention center; and Kevin, a canny, street wise fourteen-year old Honduran, whose mother hopes that he will reach the U.S. and send money back to her. These are stories of hope and courage, disappointment and sorrow. They are the children you never hear about; the invisible ones. 90 minutes.

Tickets are available for a donation of $60 pesos in advance and $70 pesos at the door. Advance tickets are available at the International Friendship Club Monday-Friday from 9 am to 2 pm. Doors open at 6 pm. Refreshments will be available. Seating is limited, so get your tickets today!
